About Us
-
The Church of the Good Shepherd Youth Group is a loving, supportive and nurturing environment for every youth. Active since the 1990's, CGS UMYF has seen its fair share of youth come and go. It's not just a group where you go to learn about Christ, it is a group where you get to experience him as well. Through connections and friendships this group is here for youths from all backgrounds to help encourage grow and faith in religion, and to help social ties through the hard teenage years. The relationships and bonds you develop in this group stay with you for life. There is something about sharing the experiences in our youth group that makes youth want to stay. Whether it be the great leaders, councelors and advisors or maybe just the right amount of learning mixed with the right amount of play the next week will never pass by fast enough. The CGS UMYF takes part in all types of adventures through out the year, including a winter retreat in January, the 30hr Famine in April, Sierra Service Project in July/August, a beach retreat in August, and every so often an extra trip here and there to a theme park or somewhere special So come join us and explore friendships and adventures that you can only have with the CGS UMYF.
Every Sunday Night in our youth room at CGS.
